You may be eligible to apply for PR under the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot if you:
- Have relevant work experience in an eligible occupation.
- Can communicate fluently in French (meeting language test requirements).
- Receive a valid job offer from a designated employer within one of the participating communities.
- Plan to live and work in that community long-term.
🔎 How to Check Your Eligibility
Before applying, make sure you meet all eligibility requirements:
- Check your education equivalency (ECA).
- Verify your language proficiency through an approved French test (such as TEF Canada).
- Review the community and employer list to ensure you’re applying to an approved region.

Finding a job offer is a key step. You must secure employment from a designated employer located in one of the six participating Francophone communities.
Once an employer selects you, they’ll provide a referral letter, confirming that the position is eligible under the pilot.

Once you have a valid job offer and meet the eligibility requirements, you can apply for permanent residence online through the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) portal.
You’ll need to prepare the following:
- Completed application forms

- Valid job offer letter from a designated employer
- Police certificates and medical exams
⏳ After You Apply
If your application is approved, you’ll receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and instructions for your move to Canada.
After arrival, you’ll have access to community settlement services, including housing assistance, language support, and employment guidance.
