Caregiver Pilot Program Modifications Changes were introduced in June 2024 to the Home Child Care Provider and Home Support Worker pilot programs, including:
- Reduction of required work experience from 12 months to 6 months
- Expansion of eligible work experience to include:
- Experience gained outside Canada
- Experience obtained up to 36 months prior to application submission
- Clarification that applicants may only submit work experience documentation once for permanent residence consideration

Quebec Program Adjustments Eligibility criteria for Quebec skilled workers now encompasses Quebec investor program applicants who have received acknowledgment letters from immigration authorities.
